Cassie onscreen never comes to life, and without Cassie, movie doesn't come to life either. There's absolutely nothing typical about Cassie in the publication, however onscreen, Moretz hasn't been offered a character she can sink her teeth right into. 1.Rick Yancey's unique 5th Wave opens keeping that quote from Stephen Hawking which, at this factor, isn't a lot insight as saying. The seven movies below are all similar to The 5th Wave in that they kick butt when it comes to female representation in the sci-fi/action genres, but unfortunately, they're anomalies in Hollywood. (For those of you who don't know, a DVD is a physical disc. It is, however, available to rent on Amazon Video and iTunes, and, of course, fans can always rent the movie on DVD through Netflix. Unfortunately, The 5th Wave isn't available to stream on Netflix. For those of you who missed the movie when it was released in theaters in January, there is hope! The movie is now out on DVD and digital release, but is The 5th Wave on Netflix?
The movie failed to become a box office hit, but it did offer fans with another awesome young woman fighting against evil in a dystopian future. Chloë Grace Moretz kicked major alien butt as Cassie in The 5th Wave, the big screen adaptation of Rick Yancey's YA book of the same name.
